bubble_chart Clinical Manifestations
Initially, it appears as a small papule, which gradually enlarges with a rough and uneven surface, gray-brown or gray-yellow in color, and clearly defined borders. If the surface keratin is scraped off with a blade, punctate bleeding can be observed, caused by the rupture of dermal papillary blood vessels, with slight blood exudation and coagulation, thus forming small black dots. It is commonly found on the heel or the anterior arch of the foot, occurring singly or multiply, with tenderness and a chronic course.
