bubble_chart Formula Principles
In the formula, Ginseng, sweet and warm, powerfully tonifies primordial qi; Aconite Lateral Root, extremely pungent and hot, warms and strengthens original yang. The combination of these two herbs works together to restore yang and stop collapse. The "Supplemented and Revised Mingyi Fanglun" states: "For replenishing postnatal qi, nothing compares to Ginseng; for replenishing prenatal qi, nothing compares to Aconite Lateral Root. This is the basis for the creation of Ginseng and Aconite Decoction... The two herbs mutually reinforce each other. When used appropriately, they can instantly transform qi in the realm of nothingness and swiftly generate yang within the life gate, making it the most miraculous and swift formula."
