bubble_chart Content The term originates from Suwen-Wei Lun. It refers to the lung having stagnant heat, where the lung is chronically scorched, leading to atrophy-flaccidity disease. There are two pathological conditions:
- lung atrophy. The main symptoms are coughing up turbid saliva and foam;
- weakness of the hands and feet. The main symptoms are withering of the skin and hair, muscle atrophy, and weakness of the limbs, making movement difficult. See the entry on "atrophy-flaccidity disease".
