One of the five needling techniques, used to treat "muscle impediment." The method involves inserting the needle obliquely to the left and right sides of the affected area, directly into the muscle, resembling the shape of a chicken's claw. This is an ancient needling technique applied for spleen disorders (Lingshu‧Official Needling Chapter).
