When Greater Yang and Shaoyang are combined in illness, there is stiffness and pain in the head and neck, or dizziness, sometimes resembling thoracic accumulation, with a feeling of hardness and fullness below the heart. In such cases, acupuncture should be applied to the first space of the Great Vertebra (Dazhui), Lung Shu, and Liver Shu. It is crucial to avoid inducing sweating, as this can lead to delirious speech. If the pulse is wiry and delirious speech persists for five days, acupuncture should be applied to Qimen.
