The south belongs to fire, governing the summer season. Heat in the sky is fire, on the earth it is heat, and in humans, it is the heart. Therefore, it is said that the heart is fire. The hand Shaoyin meridian's pulse should be vast. If it is vast and moderate, this vastness with stomach qi is the normal heart pulse. Even if there is heart disease, it will easily heal. If the pulse is vast but slightly moderate, this is more vastness and less stomach qi, indicating a heart disease pulse.
