Lingshu-Jingjin: The sinew of the hand taiyang starts above the little finger, connects at the wrist, ascends along the inner side of the arm, and connects behind the sharp bone inside the elbow (1). When flicked, it responds above the little finger, enters and connects under the armpit. Its branch runs behind the armpit, ascends around the shoulder blade, follows the neck, emerges in front of the sinew of the foot (2) taiyang (3), and connects behind the ear at Wangu (GB12); its branch enters the ear; the straight branch exits above the ear, descends to connect at the jaw, and ascends to the outer canthus. Its branch ascends to the mandibular angle, follows in front of the ear, connects to the outer canthus, ascends the forehead, and connects at the corner.

Stiff neck sinews can lead to sinew atrophy (7) and neck swelling.

(2) Foot—Originally "walk," changed according to Taisu甲乙.

(3) Sinew—Originally missing, added according to Taisu.

(4) Hand—Originally missing, added according to Taisu.

(5) Inner side of the arm—The inner side of the arm.

(6) Can—Originally "get," changed according to Taisu甲乙.

(7) Sinew atrophy—Similar to scrofula. Zhang's annotated version uses "atrophy," Taisu甲乙 also uses "atrophy." But it seems inconsistent with the above text.
