When the two yang diseases coexist, at the onset of the taiyang disease, sweating is induced. If the sweating is incomplete, it may transform into yangming, leading to a desire for spontaneous sweating without aversion to cold. If the taiyang pattern does not subside, purgation should not be used, as it would be contrary to the proper treatment.
