As people age, their teeth begin to fall out one by one. Before a tooth falls out, it will shake for a while, starting with a slight shake and becoming increasingly severe until it can no longer be used for chewing, and finally, it falls out. This seems inevitable, but in fact, the shaking can be stopped.

All tissues in the human body receive nourishment from the five zang and six fu-organs, and cannot function without any one of them. However, the vitality of certain tissues particularly depends on the strength or weakness of a specific zang-fu organ, much like how you cannot live without your family, even though you also cannot live without society as a whole. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has discovered that kidney qi is closely related to the teeth. When kidney qi begins to decline, teeth are more prone to decay and shaking. It has also been found that the fullness of liver blood is closely linked to the gums. Once liver blood is deficient, the gums are prone to atrophy and degeneration. From the age of forty or fifty, the functions of the five zang and six fu-organs begin to gradually decline. If the liver and kidneys are significantly depleted, the gums are prone to atrophy and the teeth begin to loosen.

As age increases, blood and lymphatic circulation usually gradually deteriorate, and the reduced efficiency of blood irrigation to the teeth and gums is also one of the reasons for degeneration. If patients have poor circulation or static blood issues, these must also be addressed.

Dentists can treat loose teeth caused by periodontal disease, but they cannot treat loose teeth due to degeneration or aging. Currently, only TCM can address this issue worldwide.

When liver blood is insufficient, not only are the gums prone to atrophy, but vision also deteriorates, presbyopia accelerates, dizziness and headache occur, the skin becomes rough, and nails are prone to cracking. When kidney qi is insufficient, not only do the teeth become loose, but hearing also deteriorates, bone density accelerates loss, brain power and memory significantly decline, and sleep quality worsens. Japanese research has found that people with missing teeth are more prone to dementia, which only corroborates some conclusions of TCM.

Any degeneration or aging, as soon as it begins to show signs, should be addressed with Chinese medicine, which can guarantee consolidation and significantly slow the rate of degeneration. The author's mother is a vivid example. As soon as her teeth showed slight shaking, she took the author's liver and kidney tonifying Chinese medicinals to consolidate them. Now in her 70s, she has a few cavities but no dentures, and can still chew sugar cane.

So, can severely shaking teeth still be saved? It's a bit difficult, but recently, a monk in his early sixties, who had already lost 10 teeth and had one tooth that was very loose, sought treatment mainly to nourish his body, not just for that tooth. After 27 weeks of Chinese medicinal treatment, the tooth finally stopped shaking and could chew again. Naturally, the fate of the remaining teeth was also changed, needless to say.

If you read this article and your teeth are shaking due to degeneration rather than severe periodontal disease, seek treatment from the author as soon as slight shaking begins, and you will see quick results. If there is no effect, no fee will be charged. However, if the teeth are already about to fall out when you seek treatment, a cure is not guaranteed.

Other suggestions for maintaining dental health:
  • Switch to Chinese medicinal tooth powder or brush with plain water, avoiding toothpaste with too many chemical additives.
  • Use dental floss and a toothbrush to clean after meals, and then use a water flosser to rinse thoroughly. The water flosser is a great invention.
  • Dental calculus can be removed by a dentist or by using a handheld ultrasonic dental calculus remover.
This will significantly reduce your need to visit the dentist.
