Thus, the practitioner comes to understand that, even upon awakening, one's capacity to act remains limited. The only recourse may be to quietly accompany one's companions who have yet to awaken, providing essential guidance in due moment. Henceforth, the practitioner learns to respect those still entangled in the dream, believing they will awaken at their own pace, whether sooner or later, for all that precedes it is an integral part of their necessary journey.
The awakened practitioner can see through the confusion of those still dreaming, gazing directly into the infinite radiance and potential of their inner essence — the sea of stars in the other's eyes. This sea of stars is inherently beautiful and complete unto itself, yet, for now, it is also unsettled. Because no matter how fervently one chases after things within the dream, they will ultimately prove to be as fleeting as bubbles, offering nothing to rely upon.
[verse] You chase moon's shadow on summer night Make wishes to drifting clouds in sky Counting ice crystals in your hand One by one, reflecting dreams yet to awaken [chorus] Gazing into starry seas in your eyes Flickering with restless thoughts inside How I long to push door open wide Let sunlight pour onto your windowside [verse] You tie your yearning to moon's hook Building eternal clocktower in flowing sand Time passes through your long sleeves Thread by thread, weaving gentle chains that bind [chorus] Gazing into starry seas in your eyes Flickering with restless thoughts inside How I long to push door open wide Let sunlight pour onto your windowside [bridge] You linger among autumn's crimson leaves Holding rainbows after rain in your palms I want to awaken you, yet fear shattering your dream Strand by strand, haziness in your mind remains [outro] Through long nights, crickets chirp Accompanying you counting stars gleaming Alongside moonlit and the starry sky Quietly waiting for you to awaken
