Liberation from Bondage Chapter 7: Liberation
From the moment the illusion of the false self is seen through, the very foundations of all unrest, fear, sorrow, and suffering begin to loosen and crumble.
Universe in Dream
The shackles and delusions that once bound me were merely illusions of the False Self. In the moment of breaking free, I awoke to a universe where miracles abound — even if it is, itself, a beautiful and grand dream.
Dream of Chang'an (Chapter 3: Chang'an)
All impressions of it are but phantoms pieced together from scattered fragments of history. The true Chang'an vanishes into the mist of time and space. Yet this does nothing to hinder the Chang'an of imagination: a Chang'an resplendent in rose hues, majestic and haunting, lingering in the soul like an unshakable dream.
Alone to Boundary of Reality
The practitioner walks alone, following the footsteps of the ancients, venturing deep into the ultimate realm where few have ever set foot. Here lies the boundary of language and logic — beyond it stretches the undefined region.
Anticipation (Chapter 7: Bodhisattva)
Even if dreams are not real, the pain felt within them is undeniably real. The only anticipation of the enlightened is that all those who are still unawakened in their dreams will come to realization as soon as possible.
Ultimate Inquiry
When the practitioner traversed layers of mist and reached the other shore, it was only then realized that the final answer of the world has transcended the ultimate inquiry.
Unwilling to Let Go (Chapter 7: Fearless of Life and Death)
The Bodhisattva, having attained enlightenment and liberation, gazes upon their once intimate companions who remain lost in delusion and suffering the consequences of their own actions. Thus, they consciously retain a trace of attachment — unwilling to abandon them.
Gazing into Stars in Your Eyes
After awaking from the great dream of the world, all a practitioner can do may be to quietly keep company with those companions who are still asleep.
The Fairest Flower
People pursue and seek everywhere; even with abundant possessions, they remain anxious and unsettled day after day. Yet, in the very end, they will come to realize that the most precious treasure lies deep within their own minds.
The Silent One's Glance Back
The Silent One finally remembered that he was inherently silent and had never moved. His last lingering concern was: to look back or to let go?
At the final moment, he ultimately chose to turn back and gaze upon all living beings.
